The first Saturday of each month activity continues at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center. Students with the required adult who accompanies them and seniors are admitted free. Donations are appreciated. Tours led by costumed museum volunteers are at 10:00 am, noon and 1:00 pm. Presentations are at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

 

July 5: Young Chautauquans from the 2008 season will portray Betsy Ross.

Katie Antte will be at 11:00 am and Serena Herup will be at 2:00 pm.

 

August 2: Ralph Chizek will be the speaker. Ralph will speak on Hebrew pictographs.

He recently taught an adult art class at the museum.

 

September 6: Terri Farley, author of the Phantom Stallion series will be the speaker.

Her books will be on sale at the Main Street Book Store.
